Thanks to the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) grant, our kitchen staff and Family & Consumer Science students have the special opportunity to provide a healthy snack to our PK–5th grade students every afternoon. This program not only encourages healthy eating habits but also gives students the chance to try new and exciting foods they may not have experienced before. Yesterday, our students got adventurous and tasted Rambutan! Their reactions were priceless, and it’s wonderful to see them exploring fresh, nutritious options.
