FBLA members made their monthly trip to the Higbee Senior Center to lend a helping hand. Don't forget to get out tomorrow night to support our community staple! GO TIGERS! 🐅
Reminder: The Higbee Halloween parade will be tomorrow at 2:30PM. The parade will begin at the front doors, under the awning, and follow the sidewalk around the building.
To help everything run smoothly, please line up along the sidewalks rather than gathering around the front door.
If weather changes and there is rain at the time of the parade, we will have the parade in the gym.

We want to give a huge shout-out to Howard Electric Cooperative for donating their time, skills and hard work to help install the new scoreboard at the ball field.
We are so grateful for community partners who step up and lend a helping hand to make improvements that benefit our players, families and fans. Your generosity and support mean so much to our community.
Mr Sharrocks class is hard at work building a Gaga ball pit for our PE classes.
Both junior high basketball teams won home games tonight against the Keytesville Tigers. Shoutout to the cheerleaders for bringing the spirit and getting the crowd pumped up.
Our FACS students took on a fall classic this week: making homemade pumpkin pies from scratch. 🥧🎃 Lily and Corbyn knocked it out of the park! GO TIGERS! 🐅

The Oak provided a plant tour for our FBLA members and Leadership class today. Students were able to see manufacturing processes, they learned about sourcing, quality standards, and local jobs here in Higbee. The Oak supports the Higbee R-VIII district in many ways and we thank them for all that they continue to do for our Tigers!
Higbee R-VIII is excited to implement School Flex beginning January 2027. This program will give qualified high school seniors the option of working at a part-time job for half days. Please email jmeffert@higbeeschool.com if you are interested in hiring a student worker or you would like more information about this program. We enthusiastically hope this will benefit both students and community businesses!
FFA t-shirt/crew/hoodie order forms are now available, one is attached here and there are multiple copies in the Front Office.

Red Ribbon Week continues tomorrow. GO TIGERS!
Higbee FFA had our last full day at National Convention today. We started out our day at the Indianapolis Zoo. We then headed to Lucas Oil Stadium for the Fifth General Session. We did some more shopping and ended the night meeting new people at The Garage, eating some great food!

Higbee FFA members had another eventful day at National FFA Convention! We kicked off the day by attending the First General Session alongside 70,976 FFA members! We then explored the Expo and enjoyed lunch at a spot that was a little different from the usual. There were plenty of laughs and good times throughout the day! We wrapped up the evening with bowling and arcade games.
Higbee FFA has arrived in Indianapolis for National FFA Convention! We are kicking off the trip tomorrow attending the Opening Session and exploring the Expo. Stay tuned for more updates!
